The Disguisery, Chester..

The Disguisery is a bar in Chester that is part of Crichton Bespoke Tailors, and it’s pretty different. With a loungey interior coupled with an excellent cocktail menu, it’s something special and out of the ordinary.

I had a very specific plan in mind for the promotional video, as Patrick the owner had told me what he wanted, and I spent a good day or so looking at inspiration from other films as well as storyboarding the shots I thought would work well for the feel of the video.

It was a LOT of work to produce. The list below should give you an idea of how much work it was for one person to do alone.

Set up and move around - a large soft key light, a tungsten fill light, various practical lights, a haze machine (eventually setting off the smoke alarm) two cameras, arranging people and props for shot composition, and trying not to knock back too many free cocktails.
