Corporate Storytelling That Connects
Every brand has a story worth telling, but finding the right way to tell it — that's where the magic happens for me.
I've had the privilege of working with some incredible brands right here in Manchester. The project that still gives me goosebumps was collaborating with Marriott Hotels on their corporate culture film. We filmed across multiple locations, including an unforgettable day at Old Trafford where they were showcasing their hospitality partnerships. Watching their events team coordinate a flawless corporate experience in the shadow of the Theatre of Dreams was something else entirely — the precision required to deliver that level of service while 75,000 fans are just hours away from filling those seats is honestly mind-blowing.
But it was the quieter moments that made the film special. We spent three days embedded with their team at the Manchester Airport location too, capturing everything from the 5am housekeeping briefings to the late-night front desk interactions. What struck me wasn't just their attention to detail, but how genuinely passionate everyone was about creating experiences for their guests. The general manager, Sarah, kept apologizing for the "boring corporate stuff," but honestly? Watching her rally her team during a particularly hectic conference week was pure gold for the camera.
The challenge with corporate films is always the same — how do you showcase professionalism without losing the human element? Anyone can film a boardroom meeting or a perfectly staged office tour. But catching that unguarded moment when the finance director finally nails the presentation he's been nervous about all week, or the way the whole team lights up when they're talking about a project they're genuinely excited about? That's when corporate storytelling becomes something people actually want to watch. It's about finding those authentic moments that remind us there are real people behind every brand, each with their own story to tell.
